   1950 Chevy Truck

Once both front frame clips were measured from spindle centerline, the two were cut and the 01 front clip was grafted to the 50 frame. Next was to fabricate steering rack mounts. The steering rack was placed in the factory location to help eliminate bump steer.
Mocked the rear up after removing the factory leafs springs. The rear axle will have to be narrowed 5 inches. Next up was fabricating motor and trans mounts. The cab floor was opened slightly for trans clearance.
Setting up to install the front air bags. The rear axle was narrowed by machining a sleeve from hardened tubing. The pieces were machined with a flat on one side, and this was installed at the bottom. This was to provide a way for gear lube to reach the outer axle bearings.
