  • Since you are a Veteran owned company, do you offer military discounts?

       Absolutely! Just send us a picture of your driver's license along with a picture of a valid Military ID. You can email it to sales.team@dirtydingo.com or just text us at 480-256-8434. If you are sending a picture of your active duty CAC card, all we need to see is your name and photo. The credit/debit card used must match the name on the Military ID.

       Photocopying U.S. government identification is a violation of Title 18, U.S. Code, Part I, Chapter 33, Section 701 and is punishable by fine and/or imprisonment.  It is acceptable to provide military or government ID to commercial establishments but they cannot copy or duplicate it in anyway.

       A valid Military ID is an identity document issued by the United States Department of Defense to identify a person as a member of the Armed Forces or a member's dependent, such as a child or spouse. The primary types of U.S. military ID cards being issued today are the CAC (for active duty members of the military), the DD Form 2, and Department of Defense Form 1173, for retirees and dependents. The DD Form 2 is commonly mistaken with the DD 1173 (as they are similar in appearance), however they are two separate forms. The DD Form 2 form number is appended with one of five codes to denote branch of service (A, AF, N, MC, or CG).

  • What is the difference in engine position with mounts from the small block Chevy and the LS engine?

    Measuring from the rear of the bell housing to the lower bolt on the small block Chevy 3 bolt vs the front bottom hole on the LS engine is 1 5/16"

  • Will an LS engine bolt in directly to a small block or big block Chevy application?

     The small block and big block Chevy use a 3 bolt engine mount pattern, an LS series engine uses a 4 bolt pattern.

  • Will my Pontiac GTO engine mounts work with your LS series engine adapters?

    The older GM cars (Olds, Buick, Pontiac) used a different engine mount than the three bolt engine mount found on the early Chevy cars. In order to do an LS engine swap into your older Olds, Buick, or Pontiac car, you need to find the equivalent Chevy parts. For example, if you have a 1970 Olds Cutlass, you would use the frame stands and three bolt Chevy mounts that came in the 1970 Chevelle. In this example, we matched a GM A-body non-Chevy with a GM A-body Chevy. Make sure you match the correct frame stand to the correct rubber motor mount! Early GM style motor mounts came in two types. The 'Short and Wide" and the "Tall and Narrow". Below are measurements so you can make sure you get the correct motor mounts.

  • What belt do I need with your brackets?

    Belt numbers for our accessory brackets can be found at the bottom of the install instructions. If you are running one of our high mount AC then the belt number can be found at the bottom of the AC install page. The belt size will differ if you have a small case or large case alternator, if you are running smaller power steering pulleys and if you are running an underive balancer. If you are not sure what kind of alternator you have, we have example pictures of the differences below the belt numbers on every install page. If you are running one of our small diameter power steering pulleys, then you subtract two inches from the belt. Different brands of belts stretch differently, so you can't match the same length Gates to a Dayco belt, but you are able to cross reference the part numbers for an alternative.

  • What brackets will fit my LS series engine?

       LS series engine accessories are determined by what Harmonic Balancer (Crankshaft Pulley) is on the LS series engine and if the engine has a VVT water pump. Even if you don't have a VVT timing cover, you could have a VVT water pump! Look at the images below to see the differences from a truck water pump and VVT. If you have an aftermarket Harmonic Balancer, then you have to lookup what part number you purchased to verify what spacing you have as the part numbers are generally located on the rear face of the balancer. Below is a picture explaining how to measure a stock Harmonic Balancer. DO NOT measure to the bolt head! The difference in Harmonic Balancers are 3/4" of an inch from Corvette to Camaro and also from Camaro to Truck spacing. If the Harmonic Balancer is not properlly installed all the way then your measurements will be off.

    Here we show you how to indentify the difference between a Gen IV LS engine with or without VVT.

    The timing cover on the VVT engine is much larger and has a solenoid mounted inside.

    Even if you do not have a VVT engine and you are running a VVT water.

    pump you will need to select VVT for proper fitment of High Mount AC brackets.

  • Do you make accessory brackets for SBC/BBC or LT GEN II?

    We currently only make accessory brackets for LS GEN III/IV and LT GEN V engines, but we still make conversion mounts for SBC/BBC! LS GEN III/IV series engines and LT GEN V engines are faster, stronger, lighter and get better fuel economy than SBC/BBC's. If you are scared of Fuel Injection, then convert the LS Series engine to use a carburetor! We still make conversion mounts for SBC/BBC!

  • What mounts do I need for my chassis?

       Use the "Search by Model" feature. It is located in the big red box on the left for desktop viewers or it is the first drop down menu on mobile. If you are on mobile, then I recommend scrolling to the bottom of the page and clicking on "View Desktop Site" to see the website in its full glory. DO NOT reuse old rubber motor mounts or your engine will sag, not line up correctly, and will make the ride feel horrible. Get brand new motor mounts from a parts store or invest into polyurethane replacements from Energy Suspension. We stock a 3 bolt and 4 bolt polyurethane inserts from them. You have to drill out the rivets of your old GM mount to open it up and replace that old rubber piece. It helps if you zip tie the drilled out rivet hole before bolting the motor mount back to the chassis. 2WD FRAMES ARE DIFFERENT THAN 4WD FRAMES!

    3 Bolt Style to replace the inserts of the following GM type mounts: 15731260 / 15529451 / 15529452 / 15592505 / 22145334 and aftermarket part number 2412.

    4 Bolt Style to replace the inserts of the following GM type mounts: 14039437, 9762326, 467422, 10001132, 10001133, 9764714, 459021 and aftermarket part number 2292.

  • Will you make me a custom bracket?

       No. It is not cost effective to make custom brackets for your application. Unless you have a 1948 Tucker or something from the Area 51 raid. Then we are VERY interested.

  • Do you make a transmission crossmember for XXXXX?

       We currently only make transmission crossmembers for 2WD 1963-1987 and 1988-1998 C10 C20 Truck's, Blazer's, and Suburban's.

  • Shipping overseas is too expensive, can you sell me a copy of the files and drawings so I can make the product myself?
