67-72 4X4 Chevy GMC LT Conversion Engine Cross Member

1967–72 Chevy/GMC 4X4 Gen V LT Modular Crossmember

The Dirty Dingo Modular Crossmember makes installing a Gen V LT engine into 1967–72 Chevrolet and GMC 4X4 trucks easier than ever. This is a true bolt-in design, built for strength, easy installation, and proper engine placement.

The crossmember is precision laser cut from 1/4-inch steel plate. Each piece is sanded on both sides and CNC bent with a large radius to help reduce stress on the steel.

Installation is simple and can be done with a hand drill and 3/8-inch drill bit. Hidden slotted adjustment plates help the crossmember fit trucks with frame rails that may be slightly bent or out of square.

The crossmember uses updated captured clamshell-style frame mounts while keeping the engine mounts in the factory position. The center section can also be unbolted and dropped out, making oil pan removal much easier.

Outer frame plates are included for added strength. The center spacers are CNC machined from 6061-T6 billet aluminum. All hardware is Grade 8 zinc-coated and includes heavy-duty Super 9 double-thick washers.

Optional upgrades include:

  • Factory-style rubber frame mounts
  • Adjustable LT conversion mounts
  • Black texture powder coat

Important: A Holley 302-20 oil pan is required when installing a Gen V LT engine with this crossmember.

No lift kit is required for proper installation.
