Dirty Dingo “Ford Upgrade” Fox Body LS Swap Mounts

Dirty Dingo “Ford Upgrade” conversion mounts make it easy to install a 1997–2013 GM Gen III or Gen IV LS engine into a 1979–1993 Ford Mustang.

These adjustable mounts work with the factory V8 front K-member. No cutting or custom fabrication is needed. The mounts provide up to 1½ inches of adjustment, helping you place the engine in the best position.

Each mount is machined from strong 3/8-inch-thick 6061-T6 billet aluminum. They are designed for use with 1996–2004 Mustang 4.6L engine mounts, which are sold separately.

Grade 8 zinc-coated installation hardware is included.

Important Fitment Information

  • An aftermarket transmission crossmember is required.
  • A Cadillac CTS-V LS oil pan is required to clear the factory K-member.
  • The Holley 302-1 oil pan offers more ground clearance.
  • An F-body oil pan will require the K-member to be notched.
  • These mounts will not clear low-mounted A/C compressors.
  • These mounts will not fit Dart aftermarket engine blocks.
  • They will clear a low-mounted driver-side alternator when the rear brace is removed.
  • Aftermarket LS Mustang headers made for the factory K-member will clear.
  • For proper fitment, use Duralast 3001 and 3002 replacement engine mounts.
