Dirty Dingo Datsun Z and Nissan 280ZX LS Swap Mount Kit
This complete bolt-in engine mount kit is designed to install a GM Gen III or Gen IV LS engine into the following non-turbo vehicles:
-
1970–1973 Datsun 240Z
-
1974 Datsun 260Z
-
1975–1978 Datsun 280Z
-
1979–1983 Datsun/Nissan 280ZX
The mounts fit the factory front crossmember and use the original engine mounting pads.
Each mount is precision CNC laser-cut from strong 1/4-inch 1050 high-carbon, cold-rolled steel. The slotted design allows the engine position to be adjusted for better fitment inside the engine bay.
The engine can be moved up to 2 1/2 inches forward or 1/2 inch rearward from the original bellhousing position. Once the hardware is properly tightened, the mounts hold the engine securely, even in high-horsepower applications.
Each mount is formed on a CNC press brake using a large-radius die. This helps reduce stress at the bends and adds strength.
The mounts work with factory-style rubber clamshell mounts and support many manual and automatic transmissions, including:
-
Powerglide, TH350, TH400, TH700R4, 4L60E, 4L65E, 4L70E, 4L80E
Grade 8 zinc-coated hardware and new cross bolts are included.
