Dirty Dingo 1988-99 4WD Chevy/GMC Gen V LT Adjustable Engine Mounts

Dirty Dingo Truck Mounts are precision CNC laser cut from .250-inch thick 1050 high-carbon cold-rolled steel. These adjustable conversion mounts are designed for installing a 2014+ Gen V LT engine into 1988-1999 4WD Chevrolet and GMC trucks and Suburbans.

The slotted design gives you more control over engine placement. The engine can be moved up to 2-1/2 inches forward or up to 1/2 inch rearward from the original bellhousing position. Once properly torqued, the mounts hold the engine securely in place, even in high-horsepower applications.

Each mount is formed on a precision CNC press brake using a large-radius die. This helps reduce stress at the bends and provides added strength.

These conversion mounts are designed to work with the factory rubber clamshell-style engine mounts on the original frame.

Compatible transmissions include:

  • Powerglide, TH350, TH400, 700R4, 4L60E, 4L65E, 4L70E, 4L80E, 6L80E, 6L90E, 8L80E, 8L90E, 10L80E, 10L90E
  • Other manual and automatic transmission combinations

Grade 8 zinc-coated hardware is included, along with new cross bolts.

Important Notes:

  • Raw steel comes unpainted. Black texture powder coating is available.
  • Sold as a pair with one driver-side mount and one passenger-side mount.
  • “D” marks the driver side and “P” marks the passenger side. Arrows point toward the front of the vehicle.
  • These mounts will not clear a low-mount A/C compressor.
  • These mounts can clear the low-mount vacuum pump, but engine adjustment will be limited. We recommend removing the vacuum pump for better clearance.
  • LT truck engines require a Holley 302-20 oil pan.
  • Some applications may still require notching the factory engine crossmember for proper clearance
