Dirty Dingo Universal Street Rod LS Swap Mounts

Dirty Dingo universal engine mounts are designed to install a 1997–2013 GM Gen III or Gen IV LS engine into almost any street rod or hot rod frame.

Each mount is precision CNC laser-cut from strong 1/4-inch cold-rolled steel. The slotted design provides up to 3 inches of front-to-back engine adjustment.

Many engine mounts lock the engine into one position. This can make future transmission changes difficult and may require the transmission crossmember to be rebuilt. Dirty Dingo mounts let you move the engine forward or rearward, making it easier to set up your engine and transmission.

Urethane isolators are included to help reduce engine vibration. The frame-side mounting tabs can be trimmed to fit many different chassis designs.

Grade 8 installation hardware is included.

Important Information

  • Mounts are sold as raw, unpainted steel.
  • Black textured powder coating is available.
  • Frame-side parts are not powder-coated because they must be welded to the chassis.
  • Sold as a left and right pair.
  • These mounts will not fit Dart aftermarket engine blocks.
  • The frame tabs measure 6 inches from the center of the round opening to the bottom of the flat section.
  • These mounts will not clear a low-mounted A/C compressor.
  • They will clear a low-mounted alternator, but engine adjustment may be limited.
  • Featured on Hot Rod Garage, Season 7, Episode 76.
