Dirty Dingo 4X4 Adjustable Transmission Crossmember
This is an oversized item. Additional shipping charges will apply.
The Dirty Dingo Early 4X4 transmission crossmember is designed to bolt into 1963–1984 Chevrolet K5, K10, K20, and K30 trucks and SUVs, along with matching GMC models.
Each crossmember is precision laser-cut from strong 3/16-inch Grade 70 high-carbon steel and formed on a CNC press brake. Its heavy-duty boxed design provides added strength and weighs about 28 pounds without hardware.
The crossmember is designed to clear Cardan joints when using a newer transfer case. Slotted frame mounting holes provide up to 3 inches of adjustment, making it easier to position the transmission correctly.
Each crossmember is welded and cooled in a fixture to maintain accurate fitment. It is designed for use with 1967–1984-style transmission mounts.
A 1/4-inch-thick upper frame support plate and Grade 8 installation hardware are included.
The crossmember can also be used with the optional Dirty Dingo DD-LMTA Late Model Adjustable Transmission Adapter for the following transmissions:
-
Powerglide, TH350, TH400, 700R4, 4L60E, 4L65E, 4L70E, 4L80E, 6L80E, 6L90E, 8L80E, 8L90E, 10L80E, 10L90E
