Street Rod LS Alternator and Type II Power Steering Bracket
This bracket mounts a small-case alternator and a Type II power steering pump on LS engines with 1998–2002 Camaro, Firebird, or GTO accessory spacing. CNC machined on a precision mill, starting out as ½-inch-thick 6061-T6 aircraft-grade billet aluminum and is cut to a finished thickness of 3/8's of an inch. It works with all water pumps that use Camaro, Firebird, or GTO accessory spacing.

Fits 1998–2002 Camaro alternators and 2000–2013 LS Vortec truck small-case alternators.

Uses a 1998–2002 Camaro Type II power steering pump.

Requires a small-diameter billet Camaro power steering pulley.

Requires stock, low-height factory valve covers.

The front edge of the coil bracket must be trimmed to clear the back of the alternator.

Does not clear electronic throttle bodies that extend toward the driver’s side.
Power Steering Reservoir Options:
Use an aftermarket pump reservoir, or a remote reservoir with a billet return fitting.

ALUMINUM: Most of the aluminum alloys used today contain some level of lead, usually less than .1%. Lead is known to the state of California to cause cancer and reproductive harm. STEEL (steel bolts): Steel is an iron alloy with several metals including Nickel and Chromium. Both Nickel and Chromium are known to the State of California to cause cancer and reproductive harm, respectfully. This warning applies to stainless steels as well.
