Close-Fit LS1 Camaro Power Steering Bracket

This bracket moves your power steering pump closer to the engine to provide more clearance for forward-facing turbo headers. It raises the 1998–2002 Camaro pump and reservoir 2¼ inches and moves the pump 2 inches toward the center of the engine.

Made from ½-inch-thick 6061-T6 aircraft-grade billet aluminum, the bracket is CNC machined on both sides for a precise fit. It fits all Gen 3 and Gen 4 LS engines using Camaro, Firebird, or GTO accessory spacing. A second set of mounting holes allows it to fit Howe high-volume race pumps.

Kit Includes:

  • Precision-machined 6061-T6 billet aluminum spacers

  • Grade 8 zinc-coated Allen bolts

  • Stainless steel washers

Fitment Notes:

  • Designed for the 1998–2002 Camaro power steering pump, reservoir, and pulley.

  • Does not fit GTO, Corvette, or truck power steering pumps or pulleys.

  • Does not clear 2010–2015 Camaro water pumps with a driver-side outlet.

Belt Options:

  • Gates K060815: For a low-mount alternator, stock Camaro tensioner, and stock Camaro power steering pulley.

  • Gates K060795: For a low-mount alternator, stock Camaro tensioner, and smaller-diameter Camaro power steering pulley.
