LS Alternator-Only Bracket – Corvette/G8/CTS-V Spacing

The Dirty Dingo billet aluminum alternator bracket is designed for 1997–2013 LS engines using Corvette, G8, or CTS-V accessory spacing. This setup mounts the alternator low on the driver’s side for a clean and compact installation.

The bracket is CNC machined from 3/8-inch thick 6061-T6 aircraft-grade billet aluminum for strength and a precise fit. It works with both large and small case Vortec truck alternators, as well as select Camaro-style alternators.

The alternator sits approximately 1-1/2 inches below the top of an LS1 intake manifold. The bracket fits close to the factory valve covers to help save space.

This is an alternator-only setup and is designed for applications without power steering.

Important: Designed to fit close to factory-style valve covers. Will not clear tall sheet metal valve covers.

ALUMINUM: Most of the aluminum alloys used today contain some level of lead, usually less than .1%. Lead is known to the state of California to cause cancer and reproductive harm. Most aluminum alloys are physiologically inert in their solid form, and the lead is contained within, however user-generated dust and/or fumes may pose a hazard if inhaled or ingested. Heating beyond a certain temperature may also provide avenues for exposure.

STEEL (steel bolts): Steel is an iron alloy with several metals including Nickel and Chromium. Both Nickel and Chromium are known to the State of California to cause cancer and reproductive harm, respectfully. This warning applies to stainless steels as well.
