This kit is designed to be used with our water pump adapters and a 2008 Gen IV Corvette water pump. Water pump adapters are HERE. Water pump adapter install is HERE.

All threaded holes in the block and cylinder head should cleaned and tapped with a thread chaser. All bolts being installed should be lubed with a light oil or anti-seize on the bolt threads before assembly.

Read all of the instructions before you start the assembly. Lube all bolt threads before installing. Torque the 10MM bolts to 28 FT LBS and the 8MM bolts to 18 FT LBS.

If you are also installing the LT Street Rod AC brackets, the rear AC bracket must be installed before the water pump and water pump adapters. Once the water pump is in place there is not enough room to tighten the bolts down on the rear bracket to the cylinder head.

Start with mounting the rear bracket directly to the cylinder head using two 8mmx25mm and one 10mmx25mm bolts with stainless washers as shown.

Install the front bracket to the rear bracket using the three "B" spacers between the front and rear brackets. Only one bolt goes through both brackets into the cylinder head, which is the 10x120mm flat head bolt in the middle of the front bracket. The top flat head bolt is 10X110mm threads into the rear bracket. The bottom 10x110mm socket head bolt uses a stainless washer and threads into the rear bracket.

Install the power steering reservoir onto power steering pump, then install the pump to the front bracket using the three 8mm bolts and stainless washers. Two bolts go through the pump and use stainless washers on the front, and stainless washers and lock nuts on the back of the pump. The third bolt uses an stainless washer and threads directly into the pump. As an alternative you can also use our billet press in fitting DD-LS-PA-F2 for the return if you need a tighter fit and will be using an externally mounted power steering reservoir.

Install the power steering pulley using the proper pulley installation tool, then install the idler pulley. The gold grade 8 washer is on the front and the stainless washer with locknut is installed on the rear as a safety after your have tightened the bolt onto the bracket.

The alternator mounts between the front and rear brackets using the two "A" spacers on the rear of the alternator. Install the two flat head 10x120mm with stainless washers and lock nuts on the back side.

Install belt like shown.

If you cannot find a Gates belt- cross reference the part number to a different brand. 

Usng our small diameter billet power steering pulley- subtract 2" from the Gates belt lengths.

Small case alternators are 135 amp and lower. Large Case alternators are 140 amp and higher.
