This kit is designed to be used with our water pump adapters and a 2008 Gen IV Corvette water pump. Water pump adapters are HERE. Water pump adapter install is HERE.

All threaded holes in the block and cylinder head should cleaned and tapped with a thread chaser. All bolts being installed should be lubed with a light oil or anti-seize on the bolt threads before assembly.

Read all of the instructions before you start the assembly. Lube all bolt threads before installing. Torque the 10MM bolts to 28 FT LBS and the 8MM bolts to 18 FT LBS.

If you are also installing the LT Street Rod AC brackets, the rear AC bracket must be installed before the water pump and water pump adapters. Once the water pump is in place there is not enough room to tighten the bolts down on the rear bracket to the cylinder head.

Start with mounting the rear bracket directly to the cylinder head using two 8mmx25mm and one 10mmx25mm bolts with stainless washers as shown.

Install the front bracket to the rear bracket using the two "B" spacers and one "C" spacer between the front and rear brackets. Two bolta with stainless washers goes through both brackets into the cylinder head, these use the "C" spacers and two 10x120mm socked head bolts. The 10X110MM socket head bolt threads into the rear bracket and uses the "B" spacer. 

The alternator mounts between the front and rear brackets using the two "A" spacers on the rear of the alternator. Install the two socked head 10x120mm with stainless washers on the front and back with lock nuts on the back side. 

Install the idler pulley. The gold grade 8 washer is on the front and the stainless washer with locknut is installed on the rear as a safety after you have tightened the bolt onto the bracket.

Install belt like shown.
