Dirty Dingo Adjustable Square-Body Transmission Crossmember
This is an oversized item. Additional shipping charges will apply.
The Dirty Dingo adjustable transmission crossmember is designed for 2WD 1963–1987 Chevrolet and GMC C10 and C20 trucks, Blazers, and Suburbans.
Some square-body SUVs and trucks were built through 1991 and renamed the R/V Series. This crossmember will also fit R10 and R20 models.
In most applications, the crossmember bolts into the factory transmission mounting holes. No new holes are needed. Its adjustable design works with many popular transmissions, including:
-
Powerglide, TH350, TH400, 700R4, 4L60E, 4L65E, 4L70E, 4L80E, 6L80E, 6L90E, 8L80E, 8L90E, 10L80E, 10L90E
The crossmember works with lifted or lowered trucks. It keeps the factory transmission angle to help maintain proper driveshaft alignment.
It is made from CNC-formed 1 3/4-inch-diameter tubing with strong 1/4-inch steel mounting plates. The design provides clearance for long-tube headers and exhaust systems up to 4 inches in diameter.
The crossmember mounts above the frame rails, providing added ground clearance for very low trucks. Each crossmember is welded and cooled in a custom fixture for an accurate fit.
Grade 8 bolts, washers, and locking nuts are included.
