Dirty Dingo Modular 4X4 LS Crossmember
This is an oversized item. Additional shipping charges will apply.
The Dirty Dingo modular crossmember is designed to install a GM Gen III or Gen IV LS engine into the following vehicles:
-
1967–1972 Chevrolet and GMC 4X4 trucks
-
K5 Blazers
-
Suburbans
This crossmember features a true bolt-in design. No welding is required. Installation can be completed with a hand drill and a 3/8-inch drill bit.
Each crossmember is precision laser-cut from strong 1/4-inch steel plate. The steel is sanded on both sides and formed on a CNC press brake using large-radius bends for added strength.
Hidden slotted adjustment plates help the crossmember fit frame rails that may be bent or slightly out of square. Updated captured clamshell-style frame mounts keep the engine mounts in the factory location.
The center section can be easily unbolted and removed for oil pan service. Outer frame plates are included to add strength to the installation.
The billet aluminum center spacers are machined from 6061-T6 aluminum. Grade 8 zinc-coated hardware and heavy-duty Super 9 double-thick washers are included.
