Description

Street Rod alternator and type 2 power steering bracket for 1998-2002 Camaro, Firebird and GTO spacing LS engines. This bracket is designed to fit small case Vortec truck or 1998-02 Camaro alternators. CNC machined from 1/2" thick 6061-T6 aircraft billet aluminum on a precision vertical CNC milling center to 3/8 thickness. Designed to fit very close to the stock throttle body and will not clear electronic throttle bodies that extend out the driver's side. This bracket is for the alternator and type 2 power steering pumps. Must use stock low height factory valve covers and trim the front edge of the coil bracket to clear the back of the alternator. Requires using a small billet power steering pump pulley. Will fit using all Camaro-Firebird-GTO spacing water pumps. Kit is complete with all 6061-T6 billet aluminum CNC lathe machined spacers, grade 8 Allen zinc coated bolts, and stainless washers. Includes idler pulley kit.
