Dirty Dingo adjustable engine mounts are designed for installing a Gen III or Gen IV LS engine into 1988–1999 4X4 OBS Chevy and GMC trucks.
Each mount is CNC laser-cut from 1/4-inch-thick 1050 high-carbon, cold-rolled steel. The mounts are formed with a precision CNC press brake and a large-radius die. This process helps reduce stress at the bends and creates a strong, reliable mount.
The slotted design allows you to adjust the engine position inside the engine bay. The engine can move up to 2 1/2 inches forward or 1/2 inch rearward from the factory bellhousing position. Once properly tightened, the mounts hold the engine securely, even in high-horsepower applications.
These mounts work with the factory rubber clamshell-style mounts on the truck’s frame. They can be used with many manual and automatic transmissions, including:
Powerglide, TH350, TH400, TH700R4, 4L60E, 4L65E, 4L70E, and 4L80E, 6L80-90, 8L80-90, 10L80-90.
Each kit includes a driver-side mount, passenger-side mount, new cross bolts, and high-quality Grade 8 zinc-coated hardware.

A/C and Alternator Fitment
These mounts will clear the factory LS truck low-mount A/C compressor. However, the engine will not be able to slide rearward because the mounts will contact the A/C compressor bracket. This places the engine about 2 1/2 inches forward from the original bellhousing position.
These mounts will not work with Corvette, Camaro, or GTO low-mount A/C systems.
A 1998–2002 Camaro low-mount alternator setup may work in some applications, but engine adjustment may be limited.
1988–1991 Blazer and Suburban Fitment
1988–1991 square-body Blazers and Suburbans will require a small notch in the driver-side crossmember for proper clearance.
