LS Truck Alternator and Power Steering Relocation Bracket
This Dirty Dingo bracket kit fits 1997–2013 LSx engines with truck accessory spacing. It lowers the alternator to 1½ inches below the top of an LS1 car intake manifold and raises the power steering pump 3¼ inches for more frame and steering clearance.
Machined from 1/2-inch-thick 6061-T6 aircraft-grade billet aluminum, this kit helps solve hood, frame, and steering clearance issues when using LS truck accessories. It is an excellent option for S10 and Tri-Five Chevy swaps.
The design provides room for tall sheet metal valve covers. It also allows Camaro LS1 exhaust manifolds to face backward for turbo setups.
Fitment Notes:
-
Uses a 1990–1995 Chevrolet truck power steering pump.
-
Works with Vortec truck water pumps, or 1998–2002 Camaro water pumps with spacers.
-

-
Does not fit alternators with a decoupler pulley, Corvette/CTS-V alternators, or DR45/DR44 cases.
